A field of 15 for the Dunedin Handicap should arouse more than ordinary interest in the first day of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s summer meeting. The youngsters come from Rlccarton, Timaru, Oamaru, Southland, and Wingatui stables, and so supply a very widespread interest, A Good Card The acceptances received in connection with the Dunedin Jockey Club’s summer meeting must be considered as highly satisfactory, and will provide an interesting and attractive card. Anything in the nature of a serious shrinkage in a field has not taken place, but further reductions may occur, as Valantua, Cape Gabo, and Therraldor each hold two engagements. Judged by the way Valantua is being worked his mission appears to be the Otago Handicap. Actor
