MAUNGANUI ARRIVES

FAIR TASMAN PASSAGE LARGE LIST OF PASSENGERS The Maunganu' the Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer, arrived at Dunedin . yesterday from Melbourne via Milford Sound and Bluff, and berthed at the Victoria wharf to disembark passengers and discharge general cargo. She sailed again in the early evening for Lyttelton and Wellington. The Maunganui brought 350 passengers from Melbourne, a large number disembarking at Bluff. She also had about 60 for Dunedin, the remainder being booked for the northern ports. A call was made at Milford Sound early on Saturday afternoon, when 20 passengers left the ship to walk across the Milford Track.
