OBITUARY
DR EBENEZER TEICHELMANN (Per United Press Association) HOKITIKA, Dec. 20. The death occurred this morning of Dr Ebenezer Teichelmann, aged 79. for many years medical superintendent of the Westland Hospital, from which position he retired 18 years ago. He was a notable mountaineer and a member of the Borough Council, Acclimatisation Society. Progress League, and the Arthur’s Pass Scenic Board. His wife died many years ago.
