CREW WALKS OFF

(Received Pec 18, at 10 p.m.) An attempt is being made at Newcastle to hold up the steamer Wyvern, which was lately purchased by Japanese and laden with scrap iron. ' ~ The Chinese crew walked oft.on learning of the destination of the cargo, and were replaced by Indians, wb£m the Indian League* is seeking to dissuade from taking the ship to sea.
