NIGHTWATCHMAN COLLAPSES DIES SUDDENLY ON DREDGE (Pek United I'kkms Association) AUCKLAND. Dec. 18. A watchman employed by the Auckland Harbour Board. Thomas Herbert Lewis, aged 53, married, of Parnell. collapsed suddenly and died on the board's dredge on Saturday afternoon. Lewis was reluming to the dredge with a companion in one of the Harbour Board's launches after having taken the harbour master ashore, and he collapsed immediately after reaching the dredge, WOMAN'S LEG FRACTURED TRIPS OVER TENT PEG 'Per United Hues*- Association* AUCKLAND. Dec. 18. Tripping over a tent peg when she returned from a kinema entertainment on Saturday night, a woman who was camping at the Western Springs camping ground suffered a fracture of the right leg. Th? victim was Mrs Maud Lucas, aged 56, wife of Mr Alfred Lucas, engineer of the Waikohu County Council. Te Karaka, Gisborne.
