TEMPERANCE UNION
On Tuesday afternoon an enjoyable hour was spent at the Victoria Home, Oamaru, when Mrs Parker (president) and members of the local branch of the W.C.T.U. paid a visit. After a hymn and prayer, solos were rendered by Mrs Parker and Mrs Martyn, A community sing was much appreciated* by the old people. Afternoon tea was served, cakes and sweets being provided by members of the W.C.T.U. A member of the union. Mrs M. Williamson passed away recently. Her generous Christian character endeared her to all. and she was a faithful, worker. ~
