NATIONAL CONCERT
The annual Scottish concert, held under the auspices of the Otago Centre of the Piping and Dancing Association, will take place in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall on Monday night. A feature will be the appearance of a popular elocutionist, Donald Young, of Wellington. Besides local soloists, Mr Walter Mitchell and Mr Archie Jones will make their appearance. The Scottish humour will be supplied by Mr Jamie Paterson. Instrumental items will be given by Mr Rees McGonachy (violinist)_ and Mr E. Heaney (piano-accordion). The piping and dancing championships coommence to-day at 1.15 p.m.
