PENINSULA A. AND P. SOCIETY
ANNUAL MEETING Mr R. Kinnaird presided over a fair attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Otago Peninsula A. and P. Society. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted. The report re - corded a successful show and the balance sheet showed the society to be in a good financial position. During the year the society lost some keen supporters by the deaths of Messrs H. Hughes, G. Harris, P. Ryan, Miss B. Barling, and Mrs D. Nyhon. .. , The society decided to affiliate with the Clydesdale Horse Society. The following office-bearers for the ensuing year were elected:— President, Mr D. Smith; senior vicepresident, Mr J. Brunton, junior vice-president, Mr J. S. McCartney: auditor, Messrs C. Cross and J. Weir, hon. solicitor, Mr J. E. Brunton; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. W. Wilson; committee —Messrs D. Young, J. Hellyer, A. Dick, M. Geary, E. Y. Aitken, D. Rutherford, W. J. Lewis, W. Gill, W. Hastie, I. Aitken, J. C Aitken, W. Lammond, J. Weir, and A. C. Miles.
