MACANDREW BAY ORPHANS
The fortnightly meeting of the Macandrew Bay Orphans’ Club was held in the club room. Macandrew Bay a large number of members being present. Bro. Alan Hartley was in the chair An interesting paper dealing with the early attempts at colonisation in the Otago Harbour was read Items were contributed by Bro Harbrow and Bro Dackers (piano and saxophone duet) Bro. T. Sheehan (Hawaiian guitar) Bro. Vivien (recitation) Bro. Davie (song). Bro. Wilson (mandolin). Bro. Barton (song) Community singing was led by Bro. Shurrock. Several new members were elected.
