WON A WAGER
COUNT VON LUCKNER AN EXTRAORDINARY FEAT SYDNEY, June 2. (Received June 2,'at 9.10 p.m.) Count von Luckner, who appears to be having a good time in Sydney, won a £5 bet to-day from a city business man, who wagered the count that he could not tear a city telephone directory of 550 pages into four pieces. The count accomplished the extraordinary feat with his fingers. Count von Luckner declared that the money would be given to the Blind Diggers’ Fund and, smilingly, he shook hands with the challenger.
