TRIBUTE TO BRITAIN
EQUAL TREATMENT FOR ALL COMPARISON WITH OTHER LANDS (British Official Wireless* RUGBY, May 31. (Received June 1, at 7.30 p.m.) Speaking at Manchester of the persecution of his co-religionists in many parts of Europe, Lord Rothschild paid a tribute to Britain for the just and generous treatment which all subjects of the King enjoyed, irrespective of race or religion. Lord Rothschild declared that there were few countries where all citizens without distinction had the same liberties, rights and sense of security to the extent that they had in England.
