ORATORICAL CONTEST
THE BLEDISLOE AWARD AUCKLAND WOMEN CANDIDATES (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, June 1. The third triennial University oratorical contest for the medal awam endowed by Viscpunt Bledisloe will be held in Auckland University College Hall next Wednesday evening. There will be 10 competitors, two from each of the four university colleges and Massey College. The judges on this occasion will be Mr W. H. Cocker, president of the Auckland University College, Mr Dennis Johns and Mr J. W.’ Shaw. ' The Auckland contestants, who were selected at an elimination trial, are both women students, Miss Brig Cahill pjld Miss Rilda Gorrie.
