SPORTS CARNIVAL
The combined sports carnival organised by the Football Association and Men’s and Women’s Hockey Associations will open at the old Post Office, Dowling street, on Saturday evening. The Carnival Committee has decorated the interior of the main building, and has made arrangements for all winter sports amusements, Players and supporters of hockey, basketball, and Rugby and Association football will all have a chance to demonstrate their skill. Tug-of-war entries close at the committee’s office Whitcombe’s Chambers al; 8 o’clock this evening.
