AMERICAN MINISTER
MARRIAGE IN "IRELAND LONDON, May 25. The United States Secretary for the Interior, Mr Harold Ickes, who is (54, was married to-day at the Presbyterian Church in Dublin to Miss Jane Dahlman, aged 25 years, sister of his adopted son’s widow. The bride is the niece of Mr John Cudahy, American Minister to Eire. Mr Ickes has known her since she was a child, but, owing to the disparity in age, even close friends were surprised. Mr Ickes made a secret journey from America for the wedding.
