CHATHAM CUP COMPETITION TWENTY-SIX ENTRIES RECEIVED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 1. Twenty-six entries for the Chatham Cup have been received by the council of the New Zealand Football Association, as follows; — Westland.—Runanga and Taylorvlllc. Otago—Maori Hill. Mosgiel and Northern. South Auckland.—Glen, Massey, Huntly Wanderers and Huntly Starr. Canterbury.—Nomads, St. Albans. Western and Thistle. Wellington. Petone, Miramar, Rangers. Diamond, Seatoun, Marist, Waterside. Hospital, Scottish Wanderers and Technical Old Boys. Auckland. Ponsonby. Eastern Suburbs, Thistle and Abels. Buller. — All Blacks. The entries are considered extremely satisfactory. Some years ago 32 entries were received, but last year, when the competition was abandoned, the entries totalled only 12.
