FIGURES FOR MAY INCREASE IN BIRTHS AND DEATHS An increase of 16 in the number of births in Dunedin during May compared with the figures for May, 1937, is disclosed in the vital statistics for the past month. Deaths during the past month totalled 82—an increase of 15 oyer the figures for the corresponding month of last year; and there was also an increase in the number ot marriages, 67 having been registered during May of this year and 55 in May, 1937.
