Lacroix and De Borman (Belgium) defeated Mahommed Ghaus and Sawhney 4—6, 3—6, 6—4, 7—5 6—4. France eliminated Italy. Boleln and Pellizza (France) defeated Taroni and Quintaville (Italy) 9—7, 6-3, 6-4. At Budapest Germany eliminated Hungary. Metaxa (Germany) defeated Dallos (Hungary) 6—2, 3—6, 6_3, 6—2. /f , J , At Belgrade Schroeder (Sweden) defeated Pallada (Jugoslavia) 7—5, I—6, 6—2, 6—2. 6—B, 6—3. Germany will meet France in the semi-final of the European zone.
