The barometric pressure had a falling tendency, and the reading at 5 p.m. was 30.06 inches. WELLINGTON, May 26. The weather to-day was cloudy, but fine. The morning was cool, but before mid-day it became very mild. There was a light to moderate northwesterly wind.
