INCREASE IN ENLISTMENTS TERRITORIAL FIGURES A RECORD , (Bntisn Official Vuelessi RUGBY, May 18. (Received May 19, at 5.5 p.m.) Recruiting for the regular army showed a distinct advance throughout the country last week. The intake for all arms was 930, an increase of 665 over the corresponding period last year. In a statement at the Royal Tournament on recruiting, the Secretary of War (Mr L. Hore-Belisha) said the normal intake into the regular army at this time of the year had been round 400 for many years. As to territorials, the results in the last two months had surpassed all records.
