FORBURY PARK MEETING

THE FIELDS FOR TO-DAY ! I The curtain will be run down to-day on the final fixture of the local lightharness racing season, which concludes with the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s winter meeting. The club has achieved considerable success during the season, and the fact is sure to lead to more ambitious programmes in the future. This season will conclude with an attractive card, comprised of good fields bearing every indication of providing some very interesting racing. Included in the list of acceptances for the James Memorial Handicap is Cantata, one of the star performers of the Interdominion Championship meeting. Cantata won in 2mln 46 l-ssec on a i slow track, and 4min 24sec on the last day, when Ginger Jack won in 4mln 22 4-sscc. , Morello, who won in 4min 20 3-ssec on the first day, goes back to a 4min 27sec mark, and must again be very dangerous. It should provide a race well worth seeing. The balance of the card should make an interesting conclusion to a succes-ful season.
