PLEASURE LINERS
Seventeen new liners are to be built to take German workers pleasure cruisin' 1 . These have been ordered by Kraft dutch Freude (Strength Through Joy), the National Socialist organisation for promoting leisure time recreation With its nelp the workers of Germany can cruise to the Mediterranean at a cost well within tneir means K.d.F is also building two recreation camps, one at Nuremberg and one at Munich, and two rest homes on the banks of the Rhine. An up-to-date resort, which will be reserved entirely for Kraft durch Freude, is being built on the island of Ruegen, in the Baltic Sea. and three others are planned.
