THREE DOCTORS FOR CHINA DECISION OF JOINT COUNCIL (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 8. A decision that three doctors should be sent to China was made at a meeting of the Joint Council of the Order of St. John and the New Zealand Red Cross Society held to discuss Far East Relief. Authority was granted for the spending of £6OO on equipment. A committee comprising Sir James Elliott, Dr Alexander Gillies, and Dr T. Duncan Stout' was formed to examine the credentials of the applicants.
