SEARCHING A DESK
IN GERMAN- CHANCELLERY FOREIGNER SHOT IN KNEE BERLIN, Dec. 7. (Received Dec. 8, at 0.30 a.m.) News has leaked out that a man, believed to be a foreigner, was admitted to a mental hospital suffering from a shot in the knee received when he was found searching a deck in the office of Herr Hitler's secretary at the Chancellery a fortnight ago. The man, dressed as an official entered the Chancellery unchallenged and went to the second floor where Herr Hitler's offices are situated. After discovery he fled along the corridor and was shot by a guard.
