THE LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY
10 THE EDITOR Sir-If your correspondent Mr W. R. Kingston would refer again to the preliminary notices of the waiting for Lefty" season I think he would find the Dunedin Little Theatre's claim is not that these are the first performances of "Waiting for Lefty and "Till the Day I Die" in New Zealand, bu. the first public performances. It is understood that the presentations by the People's Theatre in Auckland were of a private or seminrivate nature. The society appreciates the interest of your correspondent and of others who have seen the plays performed elsewhere, and is confident that they will not. be disappointed in the local productions.—l am, etc L. A. Manning, Secretary, Dunedin Little Theatre Society. Dunedin. December 7.
