STRIKE ENDED
. LINTON MINE DISPUTE MEN RETURNING TO WORK (Per United Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Dec. 7. It was announced to-night that the strike at the Linton coal mine had ended and that work would be resumed in the morning. An immediate attempt will be mf.de to settle the dispute between the company and the union over the recent dismissal of a trucker. The employee concerned has been reinstated pending a settlement of the dispute by the Central Disputes Committee, whose decision will be final. __
