RIFLE SHOOTING
WEST TAIERI CLUB The West Taieri Defence Rifle Club fired the second round of No. 3 Competition. The changing light proved very troublesome. The highest scores at each range were. 48 by W. Staite at 500 yards, and at 600 yards W. Brookes and D. Ashley both scored 48. The following are the scores:—A. Fraser 47 45 (5)—97; W. Staite, 48, 44 (s) 97; A. Thornton, 47, 43 (7)—97; D. Ashley 47, 48 (scr)—9s; W. Brookes, 45, 48 Vscr)—93: M Thomson. —. 33 (20) —53.
