PIGEON FLYING
The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club flew an Open Flock Race from Ash-■ burton, an airline distance of 200 miles, to central lofts. Sixty-three birds from 14 lofts were liberated at 9.83 a.m. in dull weather. A fast fly was , put up, the winning bird's.time being ". 3hr 35min 26sec.
