EXTRAVAGANCE ALLEGED MOVE TO ELIMINATE VOTE (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Dec. 7. Extravagance on the part of the Commercial Broadcasting Service was alleged by Mr H. S. S. Kyle (Opposition Riccarton) during consideration of the Supplementary Estimates of the Broadcasting Account in the House of Repiesentatives to-night. As a protest agwnrt the duplication of the broadcasting service, he moved an amendment to reduce the total vote of £18.915 by £ls 710—the amount voted to the Commercial Broadcasting Service The amendment was lost by 2o votes to 16.
