FEIGNED DEATH
CONSTABLE IN PALESTINE TWO COMPANIONS MURDERED AN OUTRAGE NEAR HAIFA (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) JERUSALEM, Dec. 1. A native police sergeant and a constable were murdered by an armed gang near Haifa. The constable who brought in the news of the murders states that he and the others were blindfolded after their capture by a large armed gang and led to an olive grove where they were told to kneel and pray Shots were suddenly fired from all sides. His companions were killed. He was not hit but feigned death. The gang then dispersed. AN INCENDIARY FIRE FIVE PEOPLE INCINERATED JERUSALEM, Dec. 1. Five people were burned to death in an incendiary fire at the Public Works stores at Tulkarem.
