BUDGET ESTIMATES
, INCREASE IN JAPAN THE EMPEROR’S APPROVAL TOKIO, Nov. 30. The Emperor has approved Budget estimates amounting to £167,142,441, an increase of £3,170,533 compared with last year. The army and navy ordinary expenditure amounts to £72,275,000 and the extraordinary expenditure to £23,333,000. Further war appropriations will be made in January.
