GERMAN COLONIES
THE DEMAND FOR RETURN JAPAN'S DEFINITE ATTITUDE LONDON, Nov. 28. The Tokio correspondent of The Times reports that the Anglo-Ger-man conversations brought a prompt official intimation that Japan will return none of the German colonies received at Versailles. The Vice-Minister for Overseas Affairs said: " The maintenance of the Japanese mandate in the South Sea Islands is an established policy of this Empire."
