SUNDAY CONCERT
A VARIED PROGRAMME A special benefit variety concert will be staged under the auspices of the South Dunedin Unemployed Association in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall to-morrow night, and no effort has been spared to assemble an outstanding and attractive variety programme. Some ot Dunedin’s most prominent concert performers have consented to assist, and these will contribute to a programme which gives promise of being one of the most attractive yet staged by the association. Among the novelty items to be presented is the first appearance in the Concert Chamber of the new Majestic Dance Band under the baton of Mr Harold Anderson. Associated with Mr Anderson is the piano-accordionist, Mr Bert Isaacs. Arrangements have also been made for the appearance of some of the members of The Seaside Serenaders ” vaudeville troupe, which is to appear at Bnghto during the holiday season The proceeds of the concert are for the relief of the widow and young family of a late member of the association.
