“THE SHINING HOUR”
REPERTORY SOCIETY’S PRODUCTION “The Shining Hour,” the Dunedin Repertory Society’s production which will commence a season of four nights at His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday next, differs from anything the society has yet attempted and should appeal to both young and old. It is a delightfully sincere and entertaining play, and, although it contains a touch of tragedy, there are moments of sparkling comedy, too, and the wellbalanced cast which has been selected should do adequate justice to the drama. Miss Bessie Thomson is the producer, and the cast includes Misses Mercia Hardman, Dorothy Clark, Elsie McPeak, and Messrs Leslie Pithie, Frank Lanyon and Roland Watson. Box plans are now open at the D.I.C.
