BULLION FROM CHINA
SHIPMENTS TO ENGLAND SAFE CUSTODY DURING WAR LONDON, Nov.' 16. The bullion reserves in the Bank of China are rapidly being shipped out of the country for safe custody during the period of the war, says the Daily Herald. Three consignments amounting to millions of pounds have already arrived in London, and more are en route, some of which, it is stated, will be reshipped to America.
