DEFAMATORY LIBEL
DOUGLAS ADVISER SENTENCED SIX MONTHS’ HARD LABOUR EDMONTON, Nov. 16. George Powell, a Douglas adviser, was sentenced to six months’ hard labour for defamatory libel. Mr Justice Ives said: “ You call yourself a technician, but you are nothing more than a propagandist. Much of the turmoil in Alberta is due to you. I am recommending deportation.”
