Hultquist (Govt., Bay of Plenty)., Mr Hultquist said that the Petitions Committee last year referred such a proposal to the Government for favourable consideration. RUGBY FOOTBALL CANCELLATION OF AUSTRALIAN TOUR FROM AUCKLAND (Feu IJN'TIu Frets Association! AUCKLAND, Nov. 17. Protests against the decision of the New Zealand Rugby Union not to send a team to Australia next year were received by the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union tonight from the South Auckland Union and the Manukau Club. Members unanimously decided to support the protests and to urge the New Zealand Union to reconsider its decision. '
