INJURY TO TRAIN PASSENGER VERDICT FOR THE CROWN (Per United Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Nov. 16. The hearing of the case in which Thomas Robert Edwin Moss, of Morton Mains, claimed from the Crown the sum of £1955 damages fdr injuries received when his hand came in contact with the tablet apparatus on the Morton Mains railway station on October 14 was concluded in the Supreme Court to-day. The jury returned a verdict in favour of the defendant, and added the following rider:—"We do not consider cast iron a suitable metal for the construction of an apparatus of this type."
