SUSTENANCE FRAUDS
TWENTY CHARGES ADMITTED WATERSIDE WORKER FINED (Per United Press Association) GISBORNE, Nov. 16. A waterside worker named John Dorman, aged 43, appeared before Mr Walton, S.M., to-day and pleaded guilty to 20 charges of making false statements for the purpose of obtaining benefits under the Employment Promotion Act. The accused drew £l2 l«s in excess sustenance. The accused was fined £2 on each charge. He was allowed time to pay.
