EARL HAIG'S STATUE
KING TO LAY A WREATH CEREMONY ON ARMISTICE DAY (British Official Wireless). RUGBY, Nov. 3. (Received Nov. 4, at 5.5 p.m.) It has been announced that the King will lay a wreath at Earl Haig's statue on Armistice Day. His Majesty will walk down Whitehall after the ceremony at the Cenotaph and place a wreath at the statue, afterwards returning to Buckingham Palace. The statue will be unveiled by the Duke of Gloucester the day before.
