COUNTRY WOMEN'S RECREATIONAL WEEK
A country women's recreational week, organised by the Otago Provincial Council, Women's Division, New Zealan„ Farmers' Union, will be held in Dunedin from November 2 to 5. Mrs W. Elliott, provincial president, W.D.F.U., will preside, assisted by Miss A. F. Borrie, secretary. About 60 women from the country are expected to be present. The programme for the week will include an official party at the Somerset Lounge, talks by Mrs S. N. Park and P. Milne on "Housekeeping in Kenya," a drive to Larnach's Castle, a visit to the Roslyn Woollen Mills,
the New Zealand Vesta Match Company, the Museum (where a talk will be given by Mr H. D. Skinner), and the Art Gallery (where Mr R. H. Neilson will deliver a lecture), an outing at the Gardens as the guests of the Home Economics Association, a party at the Vedic, where the members of the Austral-Girton Club will provide entertainment, and morning assembly at Columba College. . .
