CHANGES HANDS AT £25,000 £IOOO PER FOOT FRONTAGE The sale was completed yesterday of the property in Princes street adjoining Woolworth's, occupied mainly by Bells, Ltd., and owned by Messrs Coulls, Somerville, Wilkie, Ltd., at a price of £25,000. There are 15 perches in the area, with a frontage of approximately 25 feet to Princes street and a depth of 165 feet. On the property is a two storey building and a basement, and the ground floor is occupied by Bells, Ltd., who have a tenancy with still two years to run. The sale has been made to a resident of Christchurch. The price paid works out roughly at £IOOO per foot frontage, which is indicative of the value of property in the main streets of the city. •
