MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
At the last shoot of the Port Chalmers Miniature Rifle Club the Monti Cup was fired for. A. Patterson was the winner and J. Coleman runner-up. The scores were as follows:—Patterson 80, Coleman 78, Harwood 77, Gibbs '7, M'Dowall 76, Monti 75. Bungard 75, Morgan 74, Farquharson 74, Telfer 73, Green 72. Murdoch 72. Olsen 71. Carter 70. The match with Ist Otago fired last week resulted in a win for Port, the scores being: Ist Otago—Lieutenant Cooper 77, Lieutenant Fitchett 79. Sergeant Hay 79, Corporal Hay 77, :orporal Naismith 76, Private Chave 67, Private McConnell 76;—total, 531. Port —Monti 77, Bungard 77, Patterson 77, Morgan 80, Keenan 75 McDowall 74, Gibbs 75:—total, 535.
