CONTEST AT AUCKLAND BLOMFIELD DEFEATS NOLAND (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 25. A semi-final of the New Zealand professional wrestling championship took place to-night, when “Lofty” Blomfield, of Auckland, defeated Don Noland, of America. by two falls to 011 Noland obtained the first fall in the third round by means of an application of extra pressure on a short-arm scissors from a semi-reverse position The second fall was won by Blomfleld. who followed up a series of jolts with an octopus clamp to which his opponent submitted. Noland limped to his corner after receiving massage treatment from his second. However, shortly after the gong went for the seventh round, Noland was fore-arm jolted a few times and then fell an easy prey to a body press.
