TO THE EDITOR Sir,—ln view of the brutality shown by the Japanese in their malicious carnage of Chinese civilians I would like to suggest that the National Broadcasting Board discontinue the transmission of “ The Japanese House-boy numbers. . .... After reading In the paper of the atrocities perpetrated by the Japanese forces, I find that I cannot reconcile these acts with the levity of Frank Watanake. Since boycotts are being universally suggested, we might contribute to China’s victory by starting on this objectionable series of records. —I am, etc., Dunedin, October 23. Up China.
