COW-MILKING COMPETITION
WINTER SHOW AT WHANGAREI PROMINENT MEN TO TAKE PART (Per United Press Association) WHANGAREI, June 18. One of the high-lights of Winter Show Week at Whangarei will be a cow-milking competition, in which the Mayor and other prominent members of local bodies will compete. Further interest has been added now that the Acting Prime Minister (Mr P. Fraser), who will open the exhibition on June 29, has consented, after some persuasion, to act as judge.
