THE YOUNGEST FLYER
FIVE-WLEKS'-OLD BABY (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 9. Probably the youngest baby ever to make a flight in an aeroplane in New Zealand is the five-weeks'-old daughter of Mrs K. Newburgh, who last Saturday flew from Christchurch to Te Kuiti. The baby slept all the way. With Mr E. Clark as pilot, Mrs Newburgh and the baby left Christchurch on Saturday on their way to Auckland. Darkness fell rapidly, and a landing was made at Te Kuiti. The journey was continued by car. To-morrow the mother and baby will leave on their return flight to Christchurch.
