THE DUKE OF WINDSOR
TITLE OF ROYAL HIGHNESS ENTITLED TO PRIVILEGE LONDON, May 28. Although the Duke of Windsor by the instrument of abdication expressly excluded himself from the title of Royal Highness, the King, by letters patent just issued, wishes him still to enjoy the title, which, however, does not extend to his wife or possible children, who, however, are entitled to forms of address appropriate to a duke's wife and children.
The Associated Press understands that the decision that Miss Warfield upon her marriage shall not become her Royal Highness was obviously taken only after consultation with the dominion Ministers on the same basis as the British Ministers. It is assumed that all the dominions concurred in the decision Miss Warfield will carry a wedding bouquet of English roses, presented by a ' high personage" in London They will be carried by special plane on the morning of the wedding.
