, «»» AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP EIGHT PLAYERS LEFT IN LONDON, May 27. (Received May 28, at 9 p.m.) The last eight in the Amateur Golf Championship include the English champion Pennink, who defeated Levinson, the most dangerous American, and Jamieson, who was once the victor of Bobby Jones. Nevertheless, the American Wehrle and Chapman survive, and Sweeny and Stowe, the artisan golfer. Among those defeated are Bourn and Olander, the South African.
