MYSTERY SOLVED
CLOTHING FOUND ON BRIDGE EXPLANATION BY OWNER (Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, May 27. A telegram was received by his relatives to-day from Woolley, whose clothes were found on a bridge near Auckland, declaring that he was alive and well. , , ... A later Auckland message states that George Alfred Woolley, who is engaged in painting at Waiuku, called at the Waiuku Police Station this morning and stated that he dropped a bundle of clothes from a motor car while travelling to Waiuku on Monday morning. The unemployment levy book was an old one. and a mistake had been made in the spelling of his name.
