AUSTRALIAN WOOL
BIG SHIPMENT TO AMERICA BOSTON, Feb. 17 (Received Feb. 18, at 1 a.m.) A shipment of 28,822 bales of Australian wool arrived aboard the Taronga. It is valued by the Customs at 3,250,000 dollars, and the duties have been fixed at 1,725,000 dollars Recent heavy wool imports made a difficult task for the shipping agents to find a place to put the mammoth shipment.
